A couple of days after writing my first article about accidentally chancing on Andy Roddick in Singapore during his stop over in Singapore from Qatar to Melbourne for the 2009 Australian Open. Serene and I were pleasantly surprised that our picture taken with Andy Roddick was featured on the "ATP Fan Of The Week" section on the 23rd of January's edition of the ATP World Tour Insider Newsletter.


It read:

Fan Photo Of The Week: Andy Meets Couple In Singapore:

"Serene and Nawin Singh of Singapore had the chance to meet top American Andy Roddick recently during his changeover in Singapore. "I missed out on the chance to watch Andy in the Thailand Open two years ago as he pulled out injured, but this time out of sheer luck, my wife (Serene) and I had a chance to meet him in person at Singapore's Changi Airport transit lounge," said Nawin. "It was hard to believe that I just saw him hours ago on TV in Doha playing Andy Murray in the final and now he's here! This is one of the moments my wife and I will cherish the rest of our lives."
